Wally Doric Piano was founded forty- five years ago on the skill of "old master craftsmen" Guild technicians, experts in the time honored rebuilding, repairing and tuning procedures. Wally employed those technicians who agreed to teach him as they worked in his shop on his pianos. Because of this Wally Doric Piano has been one of the most trusted names in the industry. All acoustical pianos are unique in tone and harmonic content; all pianos are best tuned, therefore acoustically, by ear. I use both a computer tuning device and tune by ear for the best balance of ART and SCIENCE. At Wally Doric Piano, we're committed to providing professional and efficient piano restoration services. We understand that rebuilding can carry different meanings for different customers. Many seek rebuilds over new pianos by preserving the unique qualities of vintage instruments. I have restored 1840s French Erard's and 1920s Mason Hamlin and Steinway's and many others to sound and play authentically.
